The Toronto Consort with new Artistic Director Daniel Taylor and the Famed UK Tenor Charles Daniels explore The Flowering of Consort and Solo Songs from the Elizabethan Period. Repertoire to include John Dowland, Tobias Hume, William Lawes and Henry Purcell. Soprano Ellen McAteer sings Purcell’s heartbreaking aria ‘Dido’s Lament’, and Nicholas Burns sings ‘Sweeter than Roses’.
